Mac book Pro router firewall settings?

I need to know how to, on a macbook pro change the firewall settings of my router so that i can accept incoming connections from specific programs as I want to be able to use Bit torrent.Mac book Pro router firewall settings?
You just need to allow your bittorrent client to pass through the firewall. You can do this in the security section in system preferences.

But you need to also visit your router's settings webpage and setup port forwarding for your computer, specifically your program.

This might not work, as some ISPs will block a bunch of ports. You should still be able to receive connections on your bittorrent client even without port forwarding. You just need to randomize the port until you come across one where you start getting connections.
